Besides the 100-200 homemade pies the Asbury Cafe serves each day of the fair, we operate "The Grill" where you can still get those old fashioned made to order grill items. Well worth the wait when compared to today's fast food assembly lines!
We offer hamburgers and cheeseburgers in regular and deluxe styles. Regular burgers come with dill pickle slices and condiments of your choice. Deluxe burgers also include lettuce, tomato, and a bag of potato chips. Onions and green chile available for either at your request.
For a really tasty treat try the Manager's Choice - a freshly grilled Green Chile Cheeseburger. The smell alone brings them in the door!
For the young crowd, our favorite is the plain grilled hotdog. For the older crowd take that hotdog and top it with a heaping helping of chili and beans, a little shredded cheddar, and onions on request for one of the best chilidogs around.
If it's something a little hardier you want, we have it - our popular Frito Chile Pie. A handful of Frito Corn Chips smothered in chili and beans topped with shredded cheddar and onions on request. Or try just a Bowl of Chili without the crunch.
