Sour Cream Raisin Pie - The Original Cafe “Specialty” Pie

1 9" unbaked double pie crust
1-1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 cup raisins
1 egg
1-1/2 teas cinnamon
1-1/4 cup  sour cream
1 cup  chopped walnuts
cup  butter/margarine,
melted and cooled to room temperature
1 6 oz pkg sweet chocolate chips (1 c)

Preheat oven to 350º. Prepare pie crust. Beat egg slightly. Add other ingredients; mix well. Pour into bottom crust. Cover with top crust. Bake in 350º oven until golden brown.
