ADULT MUSIC
Chancel Choir is open to all adults college age and up. Rehearsals are Wednesday mornings 10:30am—11:30am and Wednesday evenings 7:30pm—9:00pm. This choir sings a variety of choral music and presents their musical offering during the 8:30 and/ or the 11:00 AM services. The choir presents a musical cantata on Good Fridays and/ or during the Christmas season. During Lent and Advent cantata rehearsals will be at 7:00pm on Wednesdays with the regular Chancel Choir rehearsal beginning at 8:00pm.
Bells of Praise is a handbell choir that is actually 2 choirs merged into one. Two (2) rehearsals during the week open the opportunity for membership. The first is Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm with the second on Thursdays at 3:00pm. Both rehearsals are held in the Music Room. They come together one Sunday per month and play in both the 8:30am and the 11:00am Sunday services.
Godly Men is a new chorus for men that has started this year. Membership is open to all of the men of the Asbury congregation and you don’t have to already sing in the Chancel Choir. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm.
